Collecting Quest - Co-Designer and Developer. Group project for Design Studio class at University of the Arts, taken through schematic design phase. Close collaboration with Museum Education, Museum Communication and other design students. Located in a 3,500 sq ft gallery at the Franklin Institute. The exhibition utilizes actual objects from the Ryerss Museum collection in Philadelphia.
Targeted at family audiences, this exhibition explores the stages of collecting through the lens of Victorian collector Maryann Ryerss. The atmosphere mimics a historical cabinet of curiosities and an active outdoor bazaar. Children can discover what kind of collector they are through interactive kiosks and card readers.
