American Museum of Natural History- Designer and Developer. The design is a projection of a possible annual outdoor blockbuster exhibition. These drawings are the conceptual framework for the exhibition and were used in proposals.
Playing into the museum's strength of creating immersive environments and dioramas, this exhibition depicts deep ocean life. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover a relatively unexplored realm of Earth. One enters through a sunken ship and walks through scenery that resembles deep ocean trenches. Themes include the survival of life, land formation and exploration.
American Museum of Natural History - Internship. Collaboration with exhibition designers on "Space" exhibition. The white models prototype possible schematic designs for a walk-through space ship exhibit experience.
These models were two solutions to a possible immersion experience in which visitors feel as though they are in an inflatable space ship. To give the illusion of floating in space, the exterior rotates and stars move outside the windows. The interior "defies" gravity in that the floor appears to run vertically.
A mirror on the ceiling completes the circular interior and visitors' reflections further the illusion of gravity.
